The Sous Chef is responsible for the proper efficiency and profitable functioning of the kitchens. supervise the work of the cooks and other kitchen personnel, related to kitchen operation, hygiene & remains fair and impartial treatments at all times.

DUTIES/ PERFORMANCE STANDARDS To Customers:

- Checks guest comments, frequently comes up with new items.
- Personally goes to buffet counter and checks frequently.

To Management
- Always is aware of business vol. to be expected making sure to have adequate staff at all times.
- Assigns the daily work vol. to constantly supervise all products.
- Schedules with Chief Steward on team cleaning and pest control.
- Schedules with Hygiene Manager for food hygiene check frequently.
- Maintain food hygiene procedures strictly: 3 step books, one way procedure, food sampling, food labeling
- Prepares to quality products and maintains the high quality of hotel food.
- Writes requisitions of food from the store and daily market list make sure not to over order.
- Plans production according to occupancy.
- Secures specification of items & quantity of the day’s production from the Exe. Chef.
- Writes work orders for Engineering Department.
- Checks his function sheets every day.
- Finish all tasks assigned by Executive Chef. To Employees
- Constantly strives for cleanliness on his employees and shows his staff how to work clean.
- Checks the time card of his employees to make sure that everybody is on time.
- Makes sure his staff is always fully uniform and well groomed & hygiene.
- Motivates his staff by training.

- At least certified in Hotel, Restaurant Management & Advanced Kitchen Skills
- At least 02 year experience at the same position at international hotels
- Strong inter-personality, leadership, and creative skills
- Good at knowledge of Food & tendency.
- Good at English and computer literate are preferred.
- Strong in driving results and people management and development.
