Finance Account Executive

**The Position**
- Manage budget and reporting for Group Functions (HR, Legal & Compliance, IT, Finance, Sourcing, Facility), ensure efficient budget management and decision making to support business operation.
- Performing month-end, year-end closing tasks including account reconciliations, journal entries to ensure financial data is accurately and timely recorded in accordance with Corporate Accounting Rules and VAS.
- Prepare and submit CBCR (Country-by-Country Reporting) reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with GBSC Tax service team to deliver tax returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and provide tax advice to business when needed.
- Assist with financial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements and other reports as needed.
- Liaise with external audit to deliver financial statement in accordance with local accounting standards.
- Conduct regular audits of financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards and corporate procedures. Handling other adhoc requests that are assigned by Head of Central Finance.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

**1. Strategic**:
1.1. The OPU Finance Account Executive is responsible for the provision of accurate financial information to appropriate stakeholders at the OPU level, executing related general ledger accounting,delivering of corporate reports, providing support and assistance, and improving its efficiency

**2. Driving business results/ process/ cross-functional collaboration - accounting execution**:
2.1. Performing month and year end closing which includes:

- Performing year-end provisions for HP business.
- Performing needed reclassifications/ reallocations of GL, CC/WBS for group functions.
- Monitoring provision utilization for HP and group functions

2.2. Managing fixed Asset Accounting of BIVN:

- Checks master file for new purchases and depreciation expenses with local accounting and compliance guidelines
- Perform physical count of fixed assets
- Perform CAPEX planning

2.3. Liaising with external audit to deliver financial statement for HP in accordance with local accounting standards.

2.4. Liaising with GBSC Manila to deliver CBCR report for HP.

2.5. Collaborating with GBSC Tax service team and external tax consultant to deliver accurate and timely VAT returns for both entities and CIT submission for HP in accordance with local tax regulations.

2.6. Group functions controlling: Manage budget forecasting and reporting for Group Functions.

2.7. Central Controlling: Manage cost allocation between HP and AH.

2.8. Invoicing:

- Manage secondary business invoicing to inter-companies.
- Issue VAT invoices for both entities (AH and HP).

2.9. Others task:

- Perform monthly and annual statistic reporting for HP.
- Perform investment capital reporting to DPI for HP.
- Approve vendors on MDGX.
- Other ad-hoc request as required by Head of Central Finance.

**3. People**:

- Supports knowledge and skill sharing within the Accounting organization. Builds relationships with respective functions within the OPU and GBSC Manila.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in accounting or related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Experience with financial reporting and tax compliance
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective English communication is a must
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team Demonstrated leadership potential and ability to take on increasing levels of responsibility
