As the ESG Lead - Asia you will push our sustainability efforts to the next level in Asia with our sustainability & fossil free circularity strategy. You will focus on expanding and leading supplier environmental & social sustainability from Asia; aligning our ESG goals with suppliers and our Asia-based sourcing, development and innovation teams as well as being a key player in new projects in the areas of supply chain transparency, material traceability, responsible sourcing. You will report to the Head of ESG and will be the team leader for our ESG Asia team.

Our team has big responsibilities - designing and implementing the ESG agenda across the entire company and helping to shape the future of the organization. We are accountable for ensuring sustainable practices are front of mind when making decisions. As the leader of ESG in Asia for On you will be an important asset to ESG leadership within On and will lead a small but growing team in Asia.

**Your Mission**:

- Lead the ESG Asia team with the support of the Head of ESG in Zurich to implement & further shape our vision and mission for a fossil free circular future.
- Provide strategic leadership across our sourcing, development, and innovation teams to expand and build out our supplier environmental & social impact programs.
- Act as a partner in the development & implementation of our social compliance (responsible sourcing) strategy & roadmap.
- Actively work with our supply chain partners to build engagement and provide trainings to reduce our environmental footprint including making health & safety inherent to their operations.
- Support Zurich colleagues on new projects such as supply chain transparency, material traceability, circularity.

**Your Story**:

- 10+ years of experience in corporate sustainability, preferably in the footwear & apparel industry or adjacent industries with similar supply chain challenges.
- Experience with some or all: international social and labour issues, social compliance standards and certifications; chemical and/or health & safety production issues; environmental impact reduction efforts.
- Experience in diverse roles where you have created strategy while executing on multiple projects and inspiring and leading a team.
- You’re entrepreneurial by nature, love to build as you go and are always calibrating your efforts against the business needs.
- You are passionate about cultivating a proactive and collaborative team culture.
- You’re adaptable, you embrace ambiguity and you can always see the bigger picture, but you never lose sight of the fine details
- You’re fluent in English (written & verbal), other languages are a plus
