ERM VIETNAM:
ERM has been working in Vietnam since 1993, and in order to meet the growing needs throughout the region, opened an office in Ha Noi in 1998. In 2002 we relocated to in Ho Chi Minh City.

Our team includes both local and international consultants with the technical expertise and detailed local knowledge required to address the particular needs of the region and conduct environmental, health, safety, risk, social and sustainability projects across Vietnam.

We work for major multinational investors in the oil and gas, mining, manufacturing, power and energy sectors, international development banks and financial intermediaries.

ROLE PROFILE:
- You will have a demonstrated understanding of international environmental impact assessment standards and requirements, such as those established under the IFC PS, World Bank Group EHS Guidelines, and ADB Safeguards;- You will be responsible for the delivery of impact assessment of various environmental aspect (noise, air, waste, water, etc.);- Well-developed reporting skills with regards to environmental impact assessment and management plans;- Be an active participant in environmental field investigations - including monitoring and undertaking environmental data collection and assisting in baseline assessments. This may require that you spend periods of up to two weeks in the field;- Experience using any programming or scripting languages is preferable;- Experience undertaking data modeling in a discipline such as hydrology, air quality, noise, environmental flows, and groundwater or specific technical skills in areas such as terrestrial or marine biology would be viewed favorably;-
- Experience managing and mentoring team members would be an advantage.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor degree in a discipline such as environmental science, environmental engineering, air quality, hydrology, marine science;- Master’s Degree in a technical environmental discipline preferable (including any one of the following: air, water, marine science, noise, ecology);- Minimum of five years’ work experience in a related field preferable. Those with less years of experience would be considered for junior role.- Good communication skills and capacity to work as part of an integrated and multidisciplinary team;- Must be fluent in English, reading, writing, and conversation.
