The PHP Technical Lead works in a dedicated team to improve a global-scale product, employing latest technologies and frameworks. The role collaborates directly with tech experts and like-minded colleagues who are passionate about making impact on digital transformation.

**What you will do**:

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
- Assist in making technical decisions and ensure that the team follows best practices and coding standards
- Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency
- Guide in debugging and solving complex technical problems encountered by the team
- Collaborate with other stakeholders to define the overall system architecture
- Break down technical tasks and distribute them among team members
- Identify opportunities and lead efforts to improve development processes
- Enforce coding standards and best practices
- Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies
- Document architectural decisions, code structure, and any other relevant technical information
- Lead by example and inspire the team to excel.

**What you should have**:

- Strong experience with PHP (Symfony experience is a bonus), we expect you to coach others
- Experience with AWS (Docker, Databases, Storage, Streams, etc.)
- Experience with building services and Restful APIs
- Security best practices champion
- A track record in delivering outcomes, not just as an individual, but rallying your team evangelizing high technical standards in the teams
- Develop and document technical standards for the company platform, ensure development standards are met
- Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex technical information for a diverse audience
- Strong English communication skills (both verbal & written), especially in the global software development environment
- Strong leadership & coaching skills (both in technical & human relations).
