O&m Compliance Officer

Position Summary:
The O&M Compliance Officer will be primarily responsible for monitoring and coordinating compliance activities in the operation and maintenance of wind power plants. This includes reviewing contractor performance, ensuring adherence to wind turbine manufacturer guidelines, coordinating audits, and preparing compliance summary reports to support regulatory and internal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for establishing, updating and implementing maintenance procedures and standards in accordance with organizational, legal and industry requirements.
- Coordinate with Balance of Plant (BOP), Substation Automation (SSA), and transmission line teams to ensure compliance with procedures and regulatory standards. Note: Real-time monitoring is primarily handled by onsite operation teams.
- Regularly monitor, inspect and evaluate the implementation of maintenance and operations activities, ensuring they comply with established procedures and standards
- Maintain accurate records, logs, and compliance documentation for wind farm operations.
- Coordinate and support internal audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
- Assist in reviewing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and compliance manuals specific to wind energy.
- Identify non-compliance risks and escalate issues to relevant departments.
- Assess and minimize risks related to maintenance and operation, such as equipment failures, work accidents, or regulatory violations.
- Support training and communication initiatives related to compliance and safety.
- Instruct employees on maintenance and operation procedures and standards, ensuring everyone understands and complies.
- Collaborate with O&M teams, including external contractors and service providers, to promote a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
- Regularly prepare reports on compliance, maintenance performance and related issues, from which to analyze and propose improvement measures.
- Prepare periodic operational compliance summary reports, including incident logs, maintenance deviations, and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with onsite O&M contractors and internal engineering teams to ensure adherence to contract terms and technical standards.
- Could to manage maintenance-related documents, such as maintenance records, user manuals, and other compliance documents.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, industrial operations, renewable energy, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in operations, maintenance, or compliance-related roles, preferably in renewable energy or wind power.
- In-depth understanding of relevant processes, standards, equipment and systems.
- Ability to identify and resolve maintenance and compliance issues.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with other departments and communicate information clearly.
- Ability to manage work, documents and time effectively.
- Familiarity with compliance principles, safety standards, or quality systems (e.g., ISO, OSHA).
- Knowledge of SCADA systems or wind turbine operation platforms is a plus.
- Effective communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools for documentation and reporting.
- Proficient in tools and software related to maintenance and compliance management.
