About the Role

Location: Hochiminh City
Report to: Senior Manager, IT Cost Control & Compliance
Function: Information Technology | Department: IT Cost Control & Compliance
Type: Managerial

We are currently looking for IT Cost Control & Compliance, Analyst who supports the monitoring and review of overall IT budget to ensure optimal resource planning, allocation and cost control by tracking spending and analyzing financial data from Financial Business Partner, and reviewing with internal IT PICs, the analyst helps identify abnormal cost items/trend and suggest potential solutions, ultimately contributing to the financial health of the IT department.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Follow up with Financial Business Partner for the up-to-date IT spending report, ensuring the data is updated and accurate.
- Analyze cost data and identify trends, highlighting potential areas for cost savings and optimization
- Assist in developing and managing IT budget data, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and operational needs
- Evaluate IT spending proposals, assessing their financial feasibility and potential operational/financial benefits
- Monitor budget performance against forecasts, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with IT stakeholders to understand their budgetary needs and constraints, ensuring effective resource planning and allocation
- Communicate budget-related information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences

**Requirements**:

- _ Education_: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- _ Experience_: 2+ years of experience in budgeting, financial analysis, or a related field within the financial services industry, preferably in the Vietnamese insurance sector.
- _ Certifications_: CMA, CIMA, CFA, or other relevant certifications recognized in Vietnam are a plus.
- _ Technical Skills_:

- Strong understanding of budgeting and financial forecasting principles.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling tools (e.g., Excel, financial planning software).
- Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.
- Knowledge of relevant Vietnamese financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Basic understanding insurance industry and insurance IT systems
- _ Soft Skills:_
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Vietnamese and English.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including IT, finance, and operations teams.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial audiences.
