- Be the representative of the company in Vietnam to deal with the local government, recruiting managers and operators. Accountable for all plant operations, maintenance and production goals.
- Ultimately responsible for performance management of all employees. This will include: performance reviews, goal-setting, production goals, disciplinary action, career development and succession planning.
- Plan, direct and coordinate daily operations of the manufacturing plant, with direct focus on production, including but not limited to production output, product quality, on-time delivery
- Supervise the supply chain, including but not limited to import of raw material, management of stock, shipment and custom clearance operations
- Supervise quality, H&S, HR and ancillary activities
- Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, hire new people
- Serve as primary point of contact with local government agencies, such as fire, police, custom, health and safety agencies
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures; guarantee compliance with legal regulations
- Stay up to date with latest legal requirements, set related policies, procedures and systems and follow up with their implementation
- Ensure optimal company performance level, implement continuous improvement activities, maintain product and process control
- Responsible of the P&L result
- Prepare and execute annual budget

**Job Requirements**:

- Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical degree
- Experience as a factory manager or in operations in manufacturing companies
- Good understanding of regulatory requirements for operating plants
- Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, planning, controlling, KPI, resource allocation, HR capital)
- Strong technical skill
- Familiarity with industry standard equipment
- Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, inventory and stewardship processes
- Knowledge of plastic industry
- High sense of responsibility, team cooperation spirit, integrity
- Good interpersonal communication
- Willing to travel abroad
- Working experience in a multinational company preferred
- Experience on setting up a new factory
- Proficient in spoken and written English
