Product Costing - Drawing Review 3. Ensure that quotation is submitted from the factory promptly. 4. Further, negotiate with the factory as necessary. 5. Production Control and On-Time Shipping: - Pre Production Sample and Review - Production Schedule: 5. Quality Control: - Review Critical Points of product PPS with QC staff prior to production. Refer to the "Product Summary Report" for a refresher. Perform First Production Run Audits & distribute support documentation to Director, DC, KM, M A & AB - Make periodic checks on the production line; make sure that standards are being maintained. Communicate any remarks for improvement and add to the "Product Summary Report" - Communicate daily with the QC staff for any issues or concerns with production. Inform the Production Manager immediately of any concerns. Log all issues and concerns in the "Product Summary Report". - Conduct spot checks for QA testing of materials (carton burst, lead content, adhesion, corrosion, etc.). Make sure that testing results are included in the "Product Summary Report" - Confirm "Approved" standardized parts being used. - Sign off on PSI Inspection Report before product shipment can be released.
