**About this team**

Our merchandising team is dedicated to ensuring our components are produced on-time with our manufacturing partners who share our commitment in elevating the world. They work closely with vendor partners and internal teams to drive product excellence, manage costs, and build positive relationships cross-functionally.

**A day in the life**:

- Support the Vancouver development and sourcing teams by managing the critical path from tech pack handoff through to buy release
- Core tasks include costing, analyze and validate cost breakdown and negotiate cost as needed, excellent at costing - strive for vendor’s costing SOP adherence
- Understand style details and can communicate comments to vendors
- Costing Data input and manage costing report
- Product reports based on data collected from vendors.
- Be the point of contact in region for the vendors during the development process.
- Visit factories for sample review base on like to like style
- Frequent visit factory and observe production end to end processes as it relate to the products.
- Work closely with our local Quality teams on costing-related quality issues.
- Arrange and attend quarterly vendors review meeting

**Job Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:

- Your ideal background: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Textiles or related fields
- 7+ years experience in a similar role within merchandising environment
- Strong knowledge of technical fabrics, garment construction and related machinery.
- Experience in working directly with vendors and ability in driving performance
- Experience in pre-costing and calculation
- Fluency in English (with local languages or Mandarin preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, you posess amazing MS Excel skills (V Lookup and Pivot Table knowledge essential)
- Experience working on PLM and PO systems like Flex PLM and Tradestone
