Description:
Key Responsibilities

- Create, edit, and maintain comprehensive documentation for telecom equipment and network systems (e.g., OLTs, ONTs, Switches, Optical Transport Nodes, EMS/NMS).
- Develop user manuals, installation guides, release notes, network configuration documents, and process flow diagrams.
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, and support teams to gather technical information and ensure documentation accuracy.
- Use Adobe Illustrator and other design tools to create diagrams, network topologies, and visual aids that enhance documentation clarity.
- Ensure documentation follows company standards and style guidelines for consistency and quality.
- Manage document revisions and version control using documentation management systems or repositories (e.g., Confluence, Git, SharePoint).

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Technical Communication, or a related field.
- **5-7 years** of experience in technical documentation within the **telecom industry**.
- Solid understanding of broadband network technologies (PON, XGS-PON, GPON, DSL, Ethernet, optical transmission).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience documenting hardware and software for telecom systems.
- Can verify documentation with hands-on operation of the systems, if needed.
- Capable of working with mínimal supervision, can initiate and complete tasks working with cross-functional team members.
- Proficiency in **Adobe Illustrator**, **Microsoft Office**, and at least one structured documentation tool (FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, Confluence, etc.).
- Experience with version control and collaboration tools (Git, Jira, or similar).

**Preferred Skills**

- Familiarity with the Broadband market segment, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Familiarity with network management systems, EMS/NMS, or OSS documentation.
- Ability to develop solution guides, internal knowledge bases, and customer community support tools.
