**JOB OVERVIEW**

**RESPONSIBILITES**
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable database architectures
- Architect and optimize business workflows for maximum efficiency
- Design and implement data-driven workflow solutions
- Oversee data pipeline development using modern frameworks
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Mentor and guide junior data engineers and developers
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance across all systems
- Drive adoption of best practices in data engineering and architecture
- Lead technical decision-making for data platform strategy
- Manage cross-functional projects involving data integration and analytics

**REQUIREMENTS**
**Core Competencies**
- Database Design and Architecture (SQL/NoSQL)
- Business Workflow Design and Process Optimization
- Data-Driven Workflow Design and Implementation
- ETL/ELT Pipeline Development
- Data Modeling and Schema Design

**Data Frameworks (Minimum 1 or 2 Frameworks)**
- Apache Spark - Distributed data processing
- Hadoop Ecosystem - Big data storage and processing
- Apache Flink - Stream processing and real-time analytics
- Databricks - Unified analytics platform
- Azure Data Factory - Cloud-based data integration
- AWS Glue - Serverless data integration service
- Snowflake - Cloud data warehouse platform

**Additional Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
- 3+ years in technical leadership positions
- Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Knowledge of data governance and security best practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Master’s degree in relevant field
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of machine learning pipelines and MLOps
- Certification in cloud platforms or data technologies
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Background in financial services, healthcare, or e-commerce domains
- Experience with real-time streaming architectures
