**Job Responsible**:

- To monitor and perform capacity planning for databases to meet the demands of Web and IoT data.
- To configure and fine-tune database and cluster parameters to optimize performance.
- To conduct installation, set up, and configuration database management systems tailored to the requirements of Web and IoT environments.
- To perform regular database maintenance tasks, including controlling access permissions and privileges.
- To verify proper functioning of database storage systems and address any issues that arise.
- To conduct audits of database access and requests to maintain security and compliance standards.
- To implement and manage database security policies, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies specific to Web and IoT data.
- To conduct regular tests and evaluations to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity are maintained.
- To develop and execute plans to prevent data loss, recover lost data, and test recovery procedures.
- To provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users working with Web and IoT databases.
- To establish, enforce, and document database policies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistency and compliance.
- To maintain up-to-date documentation, including database design diagrams and configuration/tuning documents.
- To troubleshoot database errors, minimize database downtime, and optimize parameters to ensure fast query responses.

**Job Requirement**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 6-8 years of experience as a Database Administrator, specializing in Web and IT databases. (Working experience in MNC companies is valuable).
- Excellent understanding of data backup, recovery, security, integrity, and proficiency in SQL.
- Proficiency in managing database systems like Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, etc.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and expertise in query optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
- Ability to plan storage and capacity to meet dynamic database management demands.
- Thorough understanding of database design, normalization, and optimization.
- Provide technical support and training to users in a multinational corporation (MNC) environment.
- Expertise in troubleshooting database-related issues and resolving them promptly.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, procedures, and standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.
- Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with various teams within the organization.
- Familiarity with programming languages, APIs, and core computer languages is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills (global team). Preferable multilingual especially in Mandarin.
- Willing to travel or relocate to **other countries** or **project location as assigned** if required.
