**Job description**:
** 1. RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**_ Database Administration & Operations_**
- Manage, configure, and maintain Oracle 10g, 11g, 12c, 18c, 19c, 21c, and other enterprise Oracle database versons.
- Ensure high availability, security, and performance tuning of production and development databases.
- Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions to prevent downtime.
- Manage database backup and recovery strategies, including RMAN, Data Guard, and Flashback technologies.

**_ Performance Tuning & Optimization_**
- Optimize SQL queries, indexing strategies, and database parameters to improve system performance.
- Perform AWR, ASH, and ADDM analysis to diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Implement partitioning, compression, and parallel processing techniques for large datasets.

**_ High Availability & Disaster Recovery_**
- Design and implement Oracle Data Guard (Physical & Logical Standby), Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters), and GoldenGate for high availability and disaster recovery.
- Develop and test failover and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.

**_ Database Automation & Cloud Migration_**
- Automate database tasks using PL/SQL, Shell scripting, Python, or Ansible.
- Optimize storage, networking, and compute resources for on-premises Oracle deployments.

**_ Security & Compliance_**
- Implement database security best practices, including TDE (Transparent Data Encryption), auditing, and access control.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, PCI-DSS, and other industry regulations.

**_ Others Role_**
- Provide technical guidance to developers on database design, data modeling, and query optimization.
- Document database architecture, configurations, and best practices for internal teams.

**Your skills and experience**:
** 2. REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS**:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- **5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle database administration** **in**enterprise environments (Banks, Telco, Enterprise).
- **Must have**: Strong expertise in Oracle 10g, 11g, 12c, 18c, 19c, 21c, Data Guard, RAC, GoldenGate, RMAN, and performance tuning.
- Ready to go with cloud-based Oracle deployments (OCI, AWS RDS, GCP Cloud SQL for Oracle).
- Proficiency in SQL tuning, PL/SQL, partitioning, and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with CDC tools (Oracle GoldenGate, Debezium, or similar).
- Strong Linux shell scripting, Python, or Ansible skills for automation.
- Expertise in database replication, HA configurations, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Having Certifications like Oracle OCP would be a plus
