Service Technician

With our long-standing skilled previous experience with and service experience globally, we work to ensure that we supervise our clients' plants effectively to get the most out of each turbine while upholding our commitment to safety standards.** **Service Vietnam > Service, Central Vietnam > Region 3** **Responsibilities** - Conduct timely scheduled maintenance, respond and troubleshoot Wind Turbine issues, and always, ensure and promote safe working practices - Should be trusted, i.e. accurate, detailed and have good observation skills, follow complex technical instructions in English and improvise, when necessary, in order to complete work effectively and of the highest standard - The technician is also expected to continuously identify potential troubles in the Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) and actively contribute to operational improvements to enable us to build a brand worthy of high-quality services and integrated turbine fleets - The Service Technician will be actively involved in the operation and maintenance of Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) in the Ben Tre and Tien Giang Province - Plan and complete daily work demands based on on-site work rosters and schedules - Understand each work scope, read and validate necessary service work instruction - Identify required tools and parts for each assigned work - Responsible for checking the availability of all required tools and parts actual prior to the workday - Conduct regular safety checks of equipment and tooling - Conduct re-certification of equipment and tools - Complete tasks in a timely as agreed with Site Manager - Document and convey customer requirements or requests to Site Supervisor - Actively participate in Quality, OH&S and Environmental awareness and requirements - Participate in the toolbox and daily work team briefings - Uphold site safety protocols to all Vestas onsite personnel and visitors - Promoting and actively participating in 5S and LEAN **Qualifications** - Mechanical or electrical experience necessary - Specialist in either SCADA or GFRP will be advantageous - Previous experience in Wind Energy **Competencies** - Able to read, write, and communicate in English - Familiar with Windows OS and MS Office, SAP would be beneficial - Ability to work at heights - Vietnamese nationality - A professional commitment to safety and a safe working environment - Ability to work in a team environment and be available to work some weekends, On Call **What we offer** We offer you the opportunity to make a difference and work in a multicultural and international company, where you can improve your skills and develop professionally. **Additional Information** **Additional Benefits** - Annual Merit Review - Medical and Health Benefits - Social Insurance and Pension - Annual Leaves - Sick/Medical Leaves - Public Holidays Leave - Maternity/Paternity Leave - Lunar Month Pay or 13th Month Pay - Employee Development - Access to learning materials for professional development Depending on the job requirement - Company Laptop - Company mobile phone **About Vestas** Vestas is the energy industry’s global partner on sustainable energy solutions.
