Logistics Specialist

Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for a Logistics Specialist (New Consumer Health Company). This position will be located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

**Core responsibilities include**:
**IMPORT & EXPORT and HAULAGE ACTIVITES**
- Implement efficient/appropriate clearance procedure to comply with all the regulatory rules/policy and achieve service objectives
- Regularly monitor update on new issued circular/decree /official guidance regarding customs clearance activities.
- Coordinate with 3PLs to deal and negotiate with customs officials during customs clearance and post customs clearance directly on problem shipments.
- Define customs clearance process and implement it to ensure all the inbound shipments processing through the clearance process and ensures clearance is monitored smoothly and rapidly, effectively.
- Supplier management: review and analyze Customs Clearance performance and solve the problem and take corrective actions with relative parties for the most competitive Clearance Performance/Capability.
- Monitor and manage Suppliers to meet their KPI’s target
- Monthly meeting with Suppliers and provide action plan/ proposal incase they’re not meeting their KPI’s target
- Control and monitor haulage activities to cause the delivery of shipments to warehouse in full & meet specific standard quality requirements of each product type.
- Handle the above assigned tasks relating to pharmaceutical products being or containing controlled substances and always ensure strict compliance with applicable regulations during such tasks.

**TRADE COMPLIANCE ROLE**
- Responsible to monitor all the activities in import & export related to validate all trade compliance topics including but not limited to: Tax & Duty, HS code classification, Incoterm, Certificate of Origin to ensure all the activities to be performed correctly with al required compliance of supporting documents & regulations.
- Monitor and get the most updated of the Tax/Duty Tariff and circular/decree regarding customs clearance law/regulation.
- Responsible to update information, new regulations, report or issue on import/export activities which have potential business impact to Regional Trade Compliance team & perform added tasks under Regional and Local Trade Compliance initiatives.

**Qualifications** Preferred Requirements**:

- Have experience in Supply chain, logistics, customs clearance experience in Medical Device and Pharmaceutical is a plus
- Strong in reading, understanding in legal and regulation, especially in customs clearance
- Ability to deal with uncertainties and multi-tasks
- Effective communication & interpersonal skills/ Good analytical skills
- Problem solving & decision making with internal and external customers
- Good English writing & speaking
- Proficiency in MS Excel/PPT
