**About the company**:
Our client - a leading industrial engineering company specializing in innovative solutions for various heavy industrial sectors, encompasses the entire project lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to execution and ongoing support.

**Job Summary**:
As Supply Chain Management Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our procurement strategies to ensure the efficient sourcing and management of goods and services. You will lead a talented team, driving excellence in procurement processes, supplier relationships, and supply chain optimization to support our business objectives.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans aligned with company goals and objectives, regarding but not limited to materials and equipment/machine supplies.
- Lead bidding process: supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting processes to optimize value and mitigate risks, for both internal business lines and external clients.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, distributors, and industrial partners.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align procurement activities with business needs and priorities.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for innovation and cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or relevant field, acquired MBA is a great advantage.
- At least 5 years in the same senior management positions with strong exposure to Mechanical Engineering in Heavy industry. Great familiarity with EPC projects.
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Very good English communication.
- Analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under high pressure.
- Good negotiation skill.
