o Responsible for smooth functioning and co-ordination of vendors for Guest Internet, Property Management Systems - PMS, Point of Sale - POS, IPTV, Telephony systems and other software vendors.
- Prepare & Implement Preventive Maintenance Schedule for all IT hardware & Software.
- Assists guests and colleagues in identifying and implementing solutions to user challenges and concerns associated with the use of personal computer equipment.
- Maintains strong working relationships with other departments to ensure effective communications for operational issues, serves as a role model for inter-departmental collaboration and support.
- Provide guidance to team members and other colleagues in all IT related matters.
- Keep vigilant and report any potential cyber-attack, initiate data protection resolutions to divert risk and safeguard all property’s, guests and individual information.
- Ensure that policies and procedure relating to PCI compliance are updated and adhered to.
- Maintains a system error / progress logbook and deals with reported problems.
- Responsible to ensure that IT Audit points are implemented as per relevant Standard operating Procedures.
- Monitors and maintains proper inventory of hardware and software license. Ensures that all hardware are adequate and in optimal operating state while software are timely updated for defect-free system operation within the hotel.
- Handles and report any complaints and resolving service ‘Glitches’, keep a record of all feedbacks under the appropriate system. Ensures that the issues are resolved in a timely manner to guests’ satisfaction.
- Maintain strict compliance to all departmental policies, work place safety and security procedures set by the hotel.
- Ensures that working area is kept organised and clean at all times.
- Attend training sessions and provide suggestions or feedbacks to supervisors or managers for operational improvement.
- Report any issue or damages and breakdowns within working areas and the hotel to ensure a defect-free facilities and service amenities provided.
