Project Financial Analyst, Development Team

_Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC) - a company working exclusively for the global fund management company Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), is currently looking for Project Financial Analyst to join the Development team in Hanoi, Vietnam._

CIP has very ambitious growth plans globally and in Asia over the coming years and expects to have EUR 100bn under management by 2030 making it one of the largest renewable infrastructure funds in the world. CIP has identified Vietnam as a target market in Asia Pacific and is already developing a number of offshore wind sites - these will not be part of the CISC Vietnam BD team’s scope, as such team will focus on onshore projects. CIP has significant plans for the country, and intends to develop onshore renewable energy projects such as solar and wind, storage, and potential power-to-X projects.

**The team and the role**

CISC (an affiliate of CIP) will take on “owner’s responsibility” for supporting originating, as well as developing and executing CIP’s onshore renewable energy projects on-the-ground in Vietnam. A team of talented commercial and project management professionals will be required to support this. The Project Financial Analyst will be an important member of the development team led by the Business Development Director (BD Director) focusing on onshore renewable power projects. This is in parallel to the existing team based in Hanoi and focusing on offshore wind development.

**Responsibilities will further consist of**:

- Develop and review financial models for the purpose of acquisition, dilution, financing, etc. of renewable power projects
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations, analysis, internal memos and papers for internal discussion, reporting and approval
- Assist in transaction process including: screening documents, doing preliminary due-diligence (financial and commercial)
- Assist in the process of drafting and reviewing transaction agreements and project documents
- Assist in the engagement of consultants / advisors
- Assist in discussing with lenders with regard to financing renewable power projects
- Perform research and analysis in the renewable power sector
- Other works as required by the Business Development Director

- Close interface with CIP Deal & Investment Management Teams
- 3-5 years’ working experience
- Fluent English and Vietnamese
- Prior working experience in M&A and financial advisory is an advantage
- Strong communication skills and ability to document project information and risks in a concise manner, including strong PowerPoint and presentation skills
- Ability to work well within a lean team and manage different workstreams simultaneously
- Hands-on approach, with the ability to take initiative and work proactively
- Meticulous with details, well organized, and able to learn quickly and independently with strong analytical skills
- Strong financial modelling skills with the ability to build complex, high quality error-free models from scratch
