About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Secondary IELTS & ESL Teacher to join our International Program community at UTS Van Lang Complex Campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering inspiring lessons and promoting a student-centered environment that nurtures UTS's 6 Core Values: Integrity, Respect, Courage, Contribution, Lifelong Learning, and Creativity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and teach engaging lessons to students in grades 6-12, focusing on IELTS preparation and ESL project-based learning.
  • Develop and implement curriculum materials, including PowerPoint lessons and other educational resources.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and productive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and students through regular updates and parent-teacher meetings.
  • Participate in curriculum revision and development, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
Requirements
  • A university degree in Teaching or Education, with a PGCE/QTS or teaching license.
  • At least two years of teaching experience in an international, bilingual, or similar teaching environment.
  • Expertise in IELTS instruction or ESL project-based teaching, with a strong focus on differentiated instruction and educational interventions.
  • Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to implement 21st-century learning strategies.
  • Adequate skills in IT, including the creation of interactive presentations.
  • Strong teamwork skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents.
