**Job Description**:
This Product Design Manager role is based in our Ho Chi Minh city office and will lead a small team of designers across a portfolio of products. You'll play an important leadership role within the Design & Research team globally, as well as partnering with local Product and Engineering leaders to create amazing products and experiences.
- Provide leadership for the Design & Research team locally in Vietnam
- Hire and grow the design team in Vietnam as required
- Provide design direction and design strategy across a portfolio of products
- Supervise team in product design and development activities
- Hands on production of product design deliverables (wireframes, flows, prototypes, final designs) as required
- Validate designs, identify constraints, provide constructive feedback and ensure product quality
- Shape, develop and deliver on the product strategy for portfolio of products in close partnership with Product and Engineering
- Develop objectives and measure results to ensure your team delivers value consistently
- Support shaping and drive design processes and practices, enabling greater impact and efficiency in how we work
- Proactively connect with research and other designers to maintain design best practice

**Requirements**:
Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor degree in Design (or a related field) or equivalent experience
- UX and UI experience, designing products using industry standard tools and best practice processes
- Proven experience leading small teams and/or mentoring designers
- Experience working with or managing design systems
- Deep experience working with creative/design teams, understanding how to integrate process with creative minds
- Experience with agile product development methodologies
- A driving passion for creating products that resonate on an emotional level with customers
- Ability to understand complex programs of work, scope and prioritize projects, define schedules, and work independently

Desired Skills/ Experience:

- Experience with front-end engineering
- Experience line managing a small (2-6 people) team of designer
