**Who you are**:
You are a manager with experience in the manufacturing realm. You know that keeping customers happy keeps us growing, so you are focused on ensuring the team is delivering good on time delivery and high quality parts. You also know that a well-managed team is a successful one. You keep your team members on the ball and hold them - and yourself - accountable to company goals.

We innovate our way to the top and need your creativity, dedication and random, crazy, 2am can't sleep, outside the box ideas to do that. If you want a boring, complacent job, this is not the place for you. This position reports to the Director of Operations.

**Day-to-Day**
- Follow up on production throughout the life of an order.
- Communicate with vendors for updates.
- Assist with quality issues.
- Resolve production and shipping concerns both independently and alongside other production team members.
- Communicate and problem-solve cross-departmentally regarding vendor capabilities, concerns, capacity, and other factors that could influence quoting and awarding.
- Always practice excellent internal and external customer service.
- As the manager of an international team, flexibility is a must.

**Management**
- Determine hiring gaps and train new employees.
- Retrain current employees, as needed
- Collect feedback from team members and continuously improve the team through small projects and other activities.
- Establish individual goals and measure performance for overseas team members.
- Coordinate with the Director of Operations, as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to root cause issues to enable department growth.
- Ensure daily activities are completed effectively or have their statuses updated if not complete.

**Strategic**
- Develop vendor relationships to meet production and sales targets.
- Explore new capabilities, materials, and coatings.
- Complete audits with both new and existing vendors.
- Ensure vendor information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Provide vendors with our company’s profile and expectations.
- Independently make strategic decisions to develop in depth partnerships across all countries, including executive team members as needed.
- Capitalize on opportunities with vendors or networks to take production output to the next level
- Enable team members to make strategic decisions; coordinate and evaluate appropriately.
- Collaborate with the Overseas Production Coordinator to test and rollout new processes and strategies to improve department effectiveness.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Prior Managerial Experience
- CNC Experience
- Highly Inquisitive with a Desire to Learn
- Strong Computer Skills and General Technical Ability
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
- Strong Listening and Presentation Skills
- Excellent Attention to Detail

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- CAD Experience, AutoCAD, Rhino, Fusion or Solidworks
- Knowledge of the Milling, Turning, Grinding, and EDM processes
- Proficient in Reading Manufacturing Blueprints
