**Your Job***:
- The Footwear Product Development Manager
- You will help the team to drive footwear development process from concept to production. Work with cross-functional and multi-national product creation team to support development process between US, Asia and factories. Ensure products meet or exceed our quality standards and fit feel ride demands consistently from development until to commercialization handoff. generating and communicating ideas regarding the engineering principles that enhance footwear performance and manufacturing efficiency of our products. A great problem solver and a great decision maker with an excellent presentation and communication skills. You have the capability to see the big pictures and understand how to manage teams to work towards organizational goals and strategy. You are able to coach and lead the other developers with their assigned projects and help to well develop their career paths. Assist your manager for all the assigned tasks as required and build or enhance the great partnerships with internal and external partners. You must be a great team player who is extremely understand the importance of teamwork is part of Brooks culture and be flexible for relocate if required.
**Your Responsibilities***:

- Proactively guide the team to recommend construction/costing/process solutions in regards of all technical blueprints (outsole/ midsole/ upper), upper patterns and materials to optimize performance, manufacturability, and aesthetics perspective.
- Ability to lead thought around footwear innovation and problem solve for commercialization and achieve on time delivery in terms of seasonal Calendars.
- Proficient at problem solving for development or production issues - understanding the upstream and downstream effects.
- Lead meetings with cross-functional team during various phases to review, evaluate issues and drive action plans. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with persistent questioning to find out the “whys?”
- Effectively communicate with Asia and US teams of all the issues and solutions in terms of construction, cost and aesthetics.
- Lead the development team to ensure that products are manufacturable and meet cost, quality, fit feel and ride expectations.
- Coach staffs, encouraging team member to actively engage in questions, research, observing, networking, and experimenting to inform project and program direction.
- Manage the developers to build their skill set and develop the opportunities for them to grow to be success.
- Develop strong working relationship with internal and external partners to enable joint problem solving to achieve win win situations.
- Keep up to date on latest footwear trends and manufacturing process and techniques.
- Work with senior manager to standardize the development process across teams and factories, deliver training and share the best practice to the cross-functional product teams.
**Qualifications***:

- 1. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.
- 2. 10+ years relevant experience in the product development of Athletic Footwear
- 3. 7+ years of development experience working with multiple footwear categories or extremely specialized in category and able to provide solution driven suggestions/guidance. People management experiences is requested
- 4. Excellent verbal and written skills in English, Mandarin is a plus
- 5. Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation skills, must be extremely detail oriented.
6. Strong organizational skills and independent work habits.
- 7. Keen attention to detail in planning, organization, and execution of tasks, while still seeing the big picture and understanding how all the pieces fit together and affect on
