We are looking for a talented **AWS Cloud Solution Architect - (VMware expertise**) who provides a unique opportunity to enable a transformational journey for customers based on VMware going to AWS.

This role will work with account managers for high-value enterprises in the market, lead migration assessment, and readiness and propose migration strategies for customers based on best practices.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Engaging with C-level executives to inspire, define and execute on Enterprise cloud migration strategies showing thought-leadership and a ‘can do’ approach to enterprise migrations.
- Working as part of a cross functional team to identify, develop, and close deals
- Assessing migration feasibility, identifying dependencies and overcoming obstacles.
- Engaging with development, infrastructure, security and IT operations teams at a customer and identifying repeatable patterns and architectures for cloud migration.
- Develop strategies that allow migrating existing infrastructure on the VMware platform to AWS
- Consulting and designing the architecture and roadmap for modernizing infrastructure on VMware to native services on AWS
- Join the implementation team to directly deploy migration projects from on-prem or other cloud platforms to AWS.

**Key requirements**:

- Related experience in designing/implementing/consulting of distributed systems.
- Experience in VMware migration or cloud migration projects.
- Prior Leadership experience in leading engineering or technical teams.
- The breadth of experience across Enterprise IT in multiple of the following areas: Infrastructure architecture; Database architecture; IP Networking; IT Security; Data Center Operations; and **VMware Virtualization.**:

- The breadth of expertise in private and public Cloud Computing (i.e. AWS platform), technologies and architectural best practices.
- Expert level technical acumen, including the ability to understand the customer IT landscape, identify opportunities and overcome any technical obstacles, ultimately influencing the adoption of the AWS platform in conjunction with business requirements.
- Strong presentation and written communication skills; high degree of comfort with technical and Executive audiences.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience architecting complex systems leveraging AWS services and multi-vendor environment technologies.
- Experience with different hypervisor technologies **(VMware, Hyper-V, Xen), prefer VMware**:

- Hands-on experience with networking and database technologies.
- Experience in designing, building, and operating enterprise-scale IT infrastructures.
- Familiarity with discovery and migration toolkits.
- Certificate Should have: AWS Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, VMware Certified Technical Associate - Data Center Virtualization 2024 ; VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization 2024; VMware Certified Advanced Professional - Data Center Virtualization Design 2024;
