Hanoi Toronto School is genuinely a ‘one of a kind’ school in Vietnam. Opened in August 2022 it is the only school in Vietnam offering international and integrated programs for Primary and Secondary (Grades 1-12) aligned with the Ontario, Canada Curriculum.

Reporting to: Deputy Principal

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Curriculum Delivery**:

- Plan and implement engaging lessons based on the Ontario Food and Nutrition curriculum for Grades 4 to 9.
- Develop age-appropriate instructional materials and activities that promote understanding of nutritional concepts and healthy eating habits.
- Integrate hands-on cooking and food preparation activities to enhance practical learning experiences.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.

**Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Assess and evaluate student progress using a variety of assessment tools and techniques.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents regarding academic performance and areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of student achievement and progress.

**Classroom Management**:

- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and well-being.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
- Encourage student participation and engagement in all classroom activities.

**Professional Development**:

- Stay current with developments in the field of food and nutrition education, as well as best practices in teaching and learning.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school’s continuous improvement initiatives.
