Operations Program Manager - ODM

What will you help us create?

The Role:
The Operations Program Manager - ODM is responsible for both New Product Introduction and Mass Production phases at the ODM partner for core eero products. Their role starts from hardware prototype and spans the product development process through mass production. This role serves as the ‘go-to’ person for all the activities of the ODM programs.

Key job responsibilities

Manufacturing planning & execution
- Working closely with eero EPM as overall program owner at EVT & DVT, then responsible for overall program ownership from PVT through EOL
- Own factory readiness at ODM to support required manufacturing capabilities from Proto through EOL
- Lead ODM execution of all post-ramp qualifications (“PRQs”)
- Audit ODM management of clear-to-build from PVT through EOL, including POs for long lead-time materials that need to be raised as early as when a program is awarded to an ODM partner
- Manage all Product Lifecycle Management (Arena) activities including maintenance of BOM accuracy and change order process execution

Packaging and accessories development
- Coordinate development of specifications between eero design teams, ODM partners, and component suppliers.
- Manage ODM development of packaging and accessories throughout NPI

Cost & ODM partner management
- Responsible for mass production unit pricing negotiations, maintenance of BOM cost traceability, and management of unit pricing review/approval/update processes
- Responsible for negotiating ODM factory capacity from Proto through EOL, including capacity of both production lines and off-line processes such as reliability testing and failure analysis
- Responsible for ODM supplier business review process, scoring & messaging
- Accountable for ODM reporting, and consulted on negotiation of, PPV, NRE, scrap, E&O, and other commercial considerations
- Accountable for eero business operations onboarding and system maintenance for ODM partners
- Expert in component procurement and can manage complex multi-revision parts -Demonstrated experience in gathering full details while having ability of concise communication -Degree in Supply Chain management or Engineering Management -Exceptional communication skills via brevity and details, you can communicate to both factory technician and CEO. -Attention to detail without becoming lost in the details
