Manager/senior Manager, Ci Global Analytics

**Job Description**:

- Leads efforts of the team (if the person is to manage a team of statisticians) to provide methodological and statistical supports to client service teams and external clients in South East Asia, Oceania and globally.
- Guide and train junior members of team as need may arise in standard statistical and analytical techniques.
- Works on sample design, advanced data analyses following standard processes with mínimal supervision (after training) or for non-standard projects with some supervision. Examples may include, but are not limited to: complex sample design, correlation types, regression types; factor analysis, segmentation, database tagging, choice modeling, Bayesian belief networks and other requested advanced analyses to solve client issues.
- Provides statistical outputs to internal clients in simple, non-technical language.
- May work with the client service teams on a variety of study roles, including but not limited to tasks such as developing analytical plans, preparing study designs and sample size estimates to support client proposals and providing analytical support for use of models on client deliverables
- Co-ordinates with different teams when required on project flow and to ensure timely deliverables.
- Able to communicate complex ideas in clear, simple language in both formal and informal settings.
- Guides and trains junior members of team as need may arise in standard statistical and analytical techniques
- Trains non-technical colleagues in statistical and analytical techniques
- Works on development and implementation of new statistical models and improvement of existing models.
- Makes contributions that impact the success of development initiatives, especially those that are top initiatives, complex, and/or have high visibility with clients.
- Has effectively coached or managed other people or led work involving other people demonstrating management capability.
- The elevation from Manager to Senior Manager mainly lies in the expansion in number and complexity of projects and/or the size of the team s/he leads. At the Manager level, the focus is primarily on executing relatively simple and well-defined projects, whereas at the Sr Manager level, a person will take ownership of multiple projects, including those with more complexity in analytics and larger impacts of outcomes. A Senior Manager will begin to work more with other teams outside his/her core group in both formal and informal settings.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor or higher degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Psychology, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Detailed oriented and multi task oriented.
- Good interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with co-workers.
- Must have experience in running statistical analysis on Python, R, SPSS or SAS.
- Good organizing and planning skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Experience in team management is preferable.
