**I. Main Responsibilities**:

- Assist the in-house counsels in ensuring compliance with laws and regulations in the daily operations of the company.
- Stay updated on legislation and regulatory changes from local authorities and provide timely reports to supervisors and management.
- Support other departments by offering legal advice and monitoring legal tasks and projects, while coordinating with relevant parties to address legal and compliance issues.
- Take charge of the compliance action program, including conducting legal/compliance checks and providing training to all staff members on legal and compliance matters.

**II. Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in law.
- Experience in the banking sector or a law firm is advantageous.
- Being an attorney at law is a plus.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Japanese is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, presentation, and reporting skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Team player with a sense of responsibility, initiative, and attention to detail.
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Lotus.
