**Job Summary**

The V-Ops team reports to the directly to the Head of Operations, Asia Procurement, and dotted line to the North America Vendor Governance Senior Director. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring effective Procurement and Risk management of the Company’s external service providers in Asia. The incumbent will have a good understanding of relevant Risk Management principles and Procurement best practices.

This role is a hybrid operational role accountable for engaging with stakeholders on their purchasing requirements, ensuring each submission is fully and accurately captured, processed, and routed accordingly within the Procurement channels.

Other responsibilities also include driving and monitoring compliance to the Company’s Outsourcing and Third-Party Risk Management Policy. As a critical element of the first line of defense, the Team will monitor and manage vendor risk, including conducting risk stratifications and regular governance of the Company’s external service providers.

Some level of translation from local language to English will be required to be performed as part of the overall responsibilities.

**Key Accountabilities**

Procurement Operations:

- Understand the end-to-end procurement process as well as integration points to ensure business requests are addressed efficiently
- Provide support, guidance, awareness, and necessary training to the stakeholders and ensure the relevant tasks and processes are complete in a timely manner
- Ensure Company compliance to policies and standards are always adhered to
- Create/obtain Reports for distribution for/to team during project engagements
- Create and update database files to establish quick references
- Run scheduled and unscheduled reports for internal stakeholders

Vendor Governance:

- Ensure Pre-Screening Questionnaires and Inherent risk questionnaires are completed on a timely manner and required actions are taken
- Participate in the completion of pre-contract due diligence, as required
- Participate in the completion of pre-contract clause review as required
- Participate in the Global Vendor Management Program, by ensuring that the business has understood the requirements and provided scorecards and performance reviews
- Participate in reviewing any concerns in the scorecards or performance reviews with the business,
- Participate in the annual risk governance
- Participate in investigation and mitigation of data breaches
- Participate in developing disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Support in developing any communications or training for local countries
- Perform data aggregation, data analytics and reporting activities, as required
- Assist and manage any adhoc projects, as requested

**Qualifications**:

- 3+ years in a professional environment
- Graduate degree
- Background in Procurement, Vendor Management, Third-Party Risk, Operational or Enterprise Risk, Internal Audit is an advantage, any transferable knowledge will be considered
- Fluent in English Business written & Oral; Fluent in Business written & Oral for local countries: Japanese, Mandarin / Vietnamese / Khmer
- Skilled communicator - communicates complexity with clarity and ease; articulates a clear view of concepts, ideas, and objectives; able to interface with different stakeholders at all levels; represents the company externally with confidence; skilled in both oral and written communication
- Highly engaged with strong interpersonal skills and service-oriented attitude to stakeholders and vendors
- Knowledge of risk and control practices, procedures, and principles
- Demonstrated ability to meet deliverables on time
- Familiarity with large scale company systems, databases and reporting tools.
- Exceptional multitasking skills with an aptitude to make the right decision on competing priorities and deadlines
- Strong PC skills and proficiency with MS Excel, Word, Access, and SharePoint
- Attentive to details and quality, well-organized, innovative and result driven.
- Self-starter with high level of initiative.
- Exercises good judgment.
- Operates in a professional and ethical manner with customers and vendors.
