**Job description**:
**Position Description**

As a Project Manager of Cinnamon AI Labs, you will handle multiple projects, not only ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget but must also engage and encourage your teams. Project Manager needs strong critical thinking capabilities to solve problems as they arise and finely-tuned communication skills to ensure everyone remains informed, motivated.

Project Manager as the central role to facilitate the communication between various stakeholders and control project risks. PM will be expected to coordinate internal stakeholders, find out the needs and concerns of each Cinnamon business functions, make proposals & reports of development progress for AI-features and manage project quality and delivery by cooperating with engineers, researchers and quality assurance within our group.

**Responsibilities and Performance Objectives**:
**Scope management**:Works with Delivery Manager to identify the scope of the project, and ensures that all of the approved scope is in fact being delivered.

**Schedule management**:Project manager is responsible for defining project schedule and resolving derailments and communicating effectively with team members and other stakeholders to ensure the project gets back on track.

**Resource management**:Works with cross-functional departments (AI/SE/QAL ) to assign the resource to the projects, calculates the team capacity to align with project plan.

**Risk management**:Expertized at risk management and contingency planning to continue moving forward even when roadblocks occur.

**Budget Management**:Project manager sticks to the budget for a project as closely as possible. If certain parts of the project end up costing more than anticipated, project managers moderate the spend and update the Delivery Manager.

**Quality Management**:Project manager involves identifying quality metrics and standard measures for project processes, regulatory compliance requirements, product functionality, documentation.

**Stakeholder Engagement**:Project manager monitors stakeholder engagement in the project and adjusts strategies as per requirements. It will increase the stakeholder engagement activities as the project evolves and progresses. Project manager also ensures that the right information reaches the stakeholder.

**Process Management**:Project Manager is responsible for defining, refining and managing project process, release/delivery process.

**Managing Documentation and Reports**:

- A project manager must develop effective ways to measure and analyze the project’s progress.
- Project manager defines strategies for documenting a project include data collection and verbal and written status reports.
- Project manager ensures that all relevant actions are approved and that these documents are archived for future reference.

**Leadership Abilities**:

- Project Manager is responsible for excellent communication, as well as a keen eye for the team's strengths and weaknesses, then defining the plan for team members to improve their skills.
- Project Manager trains and coaches the team about the working process to improve team performances.
- Schedule and facilitate meetings related to projects to ensure the transparency of information between management and development.

**Your skills and experience**:

- Minimum 3 years of working experience in the Project Manager or experience leading projects role with Software Development/AI background.
- Well-proven experience in managing multi-regional / distributed project teams.
- Proven experience in project plan, project estimation, quality management, resource management and risk management.
- Good communicator with effective stakeholder management & conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to clearly, concisely and accurately report on project progress and outcomes to management groups.
- Solid knowledge and practices with traditional SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attitude to do everything possible to over-achieve project goals.
- Passion to study more knowledge about technology, especially in AI.
- Strong business communication in English and Vietnamese.
- Japanese speaking at N2 level is a big plus.
