**Your Role and Responsibilities**
Brand Technical Specialist (BTS) has extensive technical knowledge to sell Business Unit specialty/brand products to clients in order to remove all technical inhibitors to sales opportunities.
- A confident and opinionated technical expert who designs viable client solutions by leveraging current product capabilities while providing input to product teams for solutions refinement.
- Hands on practitioner with a focus on customized experiential selling - “show me, don’t tell me” approach.
- Maintains strong platform and product knowledge, articulates the value proposition / ROI, understands the competitive landscape, and constructs relevant use cases to drive sales.
- Creates and delivers technical proof points through technical accelerators, to include but not limited to demonstrations, POTs, POCs, Workshops, Solution Design, Proposals.
**Your Role and Responsibilities**:
- Providing all necessary support to sales team to assure meeting quarterly and annual sales revenue quotas
- Discovering customer requirements
- Presenting and demonstrating technical solutions
- Proposing competitive differentiators
- Managing post-sales relationships
- Working with IT Architects, sellers, business partners, and units of IBM as needed to create an effective solution for the client
- Collaborating with business partners to develop their skills and solutions
- Other responsibilities include coordination of activities with internal and external service partners, presentations on marketing and enablement events, leading local
- Writing technical papers, brochures and articles, etc.
- Nice to have experience in the areas such as Data, Analytics, Security, Integration, Automation and Cloud (would be advantages)
- Proficient in one or more of the programming languages: Java, Python, C/C++, Scala.
