**Assistant Quality Manager**:

As an Assistant Quality Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the deployment of the quality strategy for a local ABB organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams with the aim to achieve and even exceed customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations. Reporting to Quality Control Manager, you will be assisting the organization in achieving the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solution to problems. This position is based in Bac Ninh, Vietnam.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Supporting the deployment of strategy, objectives and targets for quality management within local ABB organizational unit
- Assisting in continuously identifying and addressing risks and opportunities related to the local organization or its Quality Management
- Promoting the vision for zero-defects and supports the local teams to ensure that requirements from ABB, customers and stakeholders can be fulfilled, focusing on prevention rather than only control
- Promoting the voice of the customer at the local unit, and assisting the risks, problems and solutions are evaluated from a customer/stakeholder point of view
- Supporting and maintaining the quality management system of the local unit in close collaboration with the local functions, including processes and tools to ensure flawless and repeatable product introduction, manufacturing and delivering quality, service or project execution, identification of gaps and potential for improvement
- Coordinating and participating in benchmarking activities within the industry, inside and outside ABB to continuously challenge the status quo and further develop the organizational self-perception
- Driving initiatives, to improve on agreed aspects of quality, in close collaboration with local units and across multiple units or functions as applicable
- Performing activities related to designated areas within quality: customer & claims management, manufacturing quality, quality planning, product safety & compliance, design & development quality, audits & reporting

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Quality field
- Having worked for multinational corporation (US/EU) is a plus
- Familiarity with quality technique or tools (e.g. FMEA, SPC, MSA)
- Ability to work independently and structurally. A team player with leadership qualities
- High proficiency in English with great communication skills
