- REPORTING LINE- Reports to: Senior Program Manager, International Business-
- Indirectly reports to: Head of Department, Management- KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES- Undertake independent teaching at undergraduate level including designing, conducting and moderating assessment; implementing improvements informed by course evaluation activities and student feedback.-
- Grade assessments and contribute to the development of teaching materials and curriculum.-
- Undertake administration duties, which may include course coordination role or management of a small award program.-
- Adhere to the requirements of the Academic Expectations and Development Framework of RMIT Vietnam.- KEY SELECTION CRITERIA- Master/ PhD qualification in relevant disciplines.-
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver programs at undergraduate levels, including online delivery, and the ability to produce high quality curriculum or program materials.-
- Ability to undertake course coordination role.-
- Demonstrated capacity to work effectively with and to negotiate sensitively with students especially on issues related to effective learning.-
- Have strong and effective networks, especially with external industry partners who can collaborate and support the program, department and the school.-
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills appropriate for interacting with students, staff and industry, together with a strong commitment to teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration.-
- Recent and sustained performance regarding student outcomes, student experience and feedback; combined with experience and skill in a range of teaching settings.-
- Ability to operate within own discipline and cross-disciplinary/multidisciplinary teams to achieve department and-

- Ability to work with external partners, industries, organisations and communities and can operate effectively to address complex issues or seek opportunities.-

For this role, the minimum requirement is IELTS Academic 7.0 and with no band less than 6.5 (or equivalent).-
- For Academic Teaching Staff, English Language Proficiency may be proven by showing completion of Ph.D. and/or a Master's qualification whilst being instructed through the medium of English, supported by the experience of teaching in an English-speaking environment for the past 24 months.- SALARY
- Vietnamese Staff: VND hourly rate per actual working hour
- Associate Lecturer: VND663,000 gross/ hour
- Lecturer: VND826,000 gross/ hour
- The hourly rate you receive is based on an “actual working hour”.
- For every hour of teaching, you will be paid for two hours. The two hours related to 1-hour teaching and 1 hour of lesson preparation, marking, and administration.
