Seeking a Field Application Scientist to drive sales of innovative flow cytometry platform, providing scientific support and conducting technical demonstrations to current and prospective customers.

As a Field Application Scientist, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting on-site training sessions for internal team members and clients
  • Organizing and conducting GC workshops
  • Representing ThinkCyte at scientific meetings and trade shows
  • Performing demonstrations of ThinkCyte products and software for potential customers, preparing reports, and presenting data generated to prospective customers
  • Performing application testing of new product releases and providing feedback to internal ThinkCyte partners
  • Utilizing CRM to manage contacts and progress in targeted client activities

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in biological sciences with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in cell-based assays, flow cytometry, and/or high-content cell analysis and sorting
  • Laboratory experience in one or more of the following: cell-based assay development, cellular and molecular biology, cellular immunology, cell surface and intracellular fluorescence labeling, high throughput screening
  • Previous sales experience, meeting revenue and profit objectives is highly desirable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to organize and communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to travel 75% of time and manage a flexible schedule
