Your role:

Undertake tasks and assignments as a Senior IT Consultant under the guidance of the respective Manager to deliver high-quality services to clients within the defined scope of work. A key aspect of this position involves fostering the growth of team members to meet ongoing business needs. Additionally, you will engage in project teams to facilitate the development and successful implementation of projects/programs related to your area of expertise.

Performance Metrics:

Service Delivery Standards

Collaborate individually or within teams to provide risk services, including but not limited to:

  • Understanding customer needs and business objectives.
  • Offering strategic guidance on leveraging technology to meet objectives.
  • Architecting IT systems and solutions.
  • Designing relational databases.
  • Reviewing system design specifications, SIT test cases, and non-functional requirements.
  • Working closely with Business Analysts, Project Leads, and IT teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure viable, coherent solutions.
  • Supporting system development processes throughout the SDLC.
  • Overseeing IT initiatives and collaborating with the system implementation team.
  • Facilitating the adoption of new technologies.
  • Assisting in resolving technical issues.
  • Enhancing existing systems and proposing enhancements.
  • Performing other duties as required.

You will be tasked with maintaining close communication with the client's IT team; contributing to proposal development; mentoring and developing junior team members; and staying updated on emerging technologies, both locally and globally.

Building Relationships and Branding

  • Anticipate client needs based on a deep understanding of the client and its industry, escalating to the Manager for potential service opportunities.
  • Assist in managing client relationships by establishing and nurturing interactions with client representatives.
  • Actively aid the Manager in proposal efforts, bidding, and identifying new market prospects.

Qualifications

  • Strong background, ideally with a minimum of 4 years of experience in banks/financial institutions/insurance in a system analyst role or similar system implementation positions.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree from a recognized college/university in relevant fields like computer science/engineering or information technology.
  • The candidate should possess knowledge of programming, system analysis & design, and database design.
  • Experience in programming and system analysis & design, preferably within the banking sector.
  • Proficiency in standard applications such as Microsoft Office is essential.
  • Capability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Familiarity with data modeling and data visualization tools.
  • Proficiency with various databases, particularly MS SQL Server and Oracle.
  • Expertise in ETL development.
  • Experience in data migration and data cleansing activities.
  • Experience in data profiling development is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problemsolving skills.
  • Deep client service orientation, adept at managing multiple internal/external stakeholders.
  • Adaptability as a team player with robust interpersonal skills, showcasing initiative and professionalism expected from a seasoned professional, honoring commitments including targets and deadlines.
  • Demonstrate multitasking abilities and thrive in a high-pressure, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, proficient in documentation in both Vietnamese and English.
  • Relevant professional certifications like PMP, ITIL, TOGAF, CSM, ITIL Foundation, CISSP, CISA, ISO 27001 (completed or in progress) would be advantageous.
