About the Role

PingCAP Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Deal Desk Analyst to join our team. As a trusted advisor and partner to the Sales team, you will provide critical guidance and support throughout the deal process, helping drive closure and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deal Structure and Pricing Guidance: Advise on deal structures, pricing, buying programs, discounts, and alternative contract options to ensure commercial success.
  • Quote and Pricing Approval Management: Manage quotes and pricing approvals to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Commercial Operation Readiness: Ensure commercial operation readiness in terms of SKU, buying program, and price list creation to enable direct and indirect transactions.
  • Quote-to-Cash Process Execution: Execute the quote-to-cash process, including order acceptance, managing product/service fulfillment and billing process, tracking and following up on outstanding collections, and reinforcing required actions.
  • Escalation and Exception Handling: Handle escalations and exceptions in the Quote to Cash process to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaboration with Legal: Collaborate with Legal to interpret contractual language and ensure compliance with policies for sales contracts.
  • Process Improvement and Automation: Drive initiatives to simplify quote-to-cash processes and improve productivity via automation.
  • Sales Enablement and Training: Deliver sales enablement and training on quote-to-cash best practices to ensure sales teams are equipped to succeed.
  • ACV Booking Guidelines: Create and refresh ACV booking guidelines to ensure accurate and compliant revenue recognition.
Requirements
  • Fluent Mandarin Speaker: Fluency in Mandarin is required for effective communication with the Sales team and customers.
  • Business Acumen: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is required to understand commercial operations and sales processes.
  • Deal Desk Experience: 5+ years of experience in a deal desk, sales operations, or a related role is required to understand the quote-to-cash process and commercial operations.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required to navigate complex commercial operations and sales processes.
  • CRM and Sales Tool Proficiency: Proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools is required to manage sales processes and customer interactions.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are required to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Legal, and Finance.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment is required to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Knowledge of Database and Cloud Computing: Knowledge of database and cloud computing is a plus to understand the company's products and services.
