Work you'll do:

The Tax Senior position involves conducting tax work including reviewing Vietnamese individual and corporate tax returns, value added tax, foreign contractor withholding tax, and other assigned tasks; supervising staff; and ensuring efficient delivery of tax services.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Good understanding of Vietnamese market trends relevant to clients.
  • Knowledge of accounting, tax, and commercial aspects impacting Vietnamese tax and business transactions.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with peers at client organizations.
  • Providing recommendations on tax issues to tax managers.
  • Identifying opportunities for engagement efficiency improvement.
  • Demonstrating flexibility, business acumen, persistence, and determination.
  • Clear communication of decisions and expectations to team members.
  • Offering guidance, feedback, and mentorship for staff development.

Requirements:

Basic qualifications:

  • Strong project management, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Experience in staff and tax management.
  • Leadership, training, and mentoring abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic team setting.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and dependability.
  • Highly motivated with multitasking capabilities.
  • Commitment to superior client service.
  • Good English communication, computer, and interpersonal skills.

Preferable work experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of Accounting/Tax experience.
  • Prior experience in a similar role.
  • Big 4 experience is advantageous.

Education and Licenses:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Foreign Trade.
  • ACCA/Vietnamese or foreign CPA preferred.
