What you'll do:

Job Description / Capsule

  • Implement the organization's remuneration strategy so its compensation & benefits outcome meets current and future business needs.
  • Be responsible for the activities related to the processing of the payroll aiming at guaranteeing the correct payment of employees within company parameters and according to current legislation.
  • Responsible for managing HR operation, HR systems, process and SHE operation.

Typical Accountabilities

Compensation & benefits policies & operating:

  • Develop or review policies in line with market practices.
  • Build new compensation & benefits policies & programs based on business growth and budget affordability
  • Propose and implement all necessary actions to improve effectiveness and cost efficiency of all C&B programs
  • Calculate and manage personnel costs budget
  • Implement the salary review process and administer the implementation of annual salary review timely
  • Administer the benefits program in line with policies.
  • Conduct salary & benefit surveys and provides data analysis.
  • Ensures all packages & benefits are legal and play a role as a policy keeper.
  • Prepare & distribute related C&B information to employees timely.

Payroll process

  • Work with vendor to manage the payroll for the whole organization to ensure all the payments are made accurately & timely and government reports are submitted in accordance with legal requirement.
  • Maintain payroll information by designing systems, directing the collection, calculation, and entering of data
  • Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Coordinate with F&A department in consolidating C&B/Payroll data in an accurate & timely manner.
  • Ensure payroll processes meet company's requirement (Internal Audit/Control).
  • Project as required ie. continual improvement and standardization of payroll operations and systems.

HR System/ report management:

  • Ensure the HRIS is maintained regularly and data and reports are generated suitably and accurately for management decisions.
  • Prepare and compile HR related reports as and when required; maintain employees' personnel files
  • Play role of Workday data contact point for Vietnam.

Initial HR Contact point:

  • Coordinate and organize newemployee orientation/ induction programs periodically
  • Administer and coordinate employment related activities/documentations including but not limited to probation assessment, employment contract issuance & renewal, termination clearance (exit process)
  • Assist in preparing internal staff communications including Recognition & Rewards, Personal Update, Bereavement

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Broad knowledge and experience in employment law
  • Legislative and award compliance ability to interpret relevant awards and legislation
  • Comprehensive and working knowledge of payroll systems
  • Demonstrated payroll management experience.
  • Good mindset of innovation & business partnering
  • High integrity & compliance with policy & process
  • Able to gather and analyze facts & statistics
  • High accuracy, attention to details
  • Good negotiating skills
  • Good problems solver
  • Good communication in both oral and written English
