Job Description:


DCAZ is the Bosch Rexroth (DC) Regional Sales Unit ASEAN & Oceania, comprising seven legal entities spanning from Thailand to New Zealand.


The role DCAZ/ILC is responsible for all topics related to the Internal Control System (ICS) implementation in DCAZ, especially ensuring the proper conduct of Monitoring Procedures (MPs) in the region.

The Internal Control Specialist ensures efficient and compliant processes in DCAZ in line with internal and external norms, regulations and guidelines.

Deviations are efficiently detected and risks are effectively mitigated. The Internal Control Specialist acts as an advisor towards DCAZ country heads and the local responsibles for detective controls. To improve processes and standards in a timely manner, the Internal Control Manager supports and consults the legal entities.

Additionally, DCAZ/ILC reviews the proper implementation of compliance related processes in DCAZ.


Ultimately, the Internal Control Specialist contributes not only to preventing unjustified outflows of funds but also ensures adherence to legal principles, thus contributing to the overall success, reputation and integrity of DCAZ.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Discuss internal control findings and deviations with Country Unit management, followup on corrective measure implementation and its effectiveness
  • Report findings and measures to Sales Unit management timely and ensure proper documentation
  • Coordinate DCAZinternal audit readiness checks based on C/AU audit deficiency reports, past audit findings and Basicrule company (BrC) regulatory framework, incl. risk management reviews and selfassessments
  • Drive CIP activities for internal control processes, act as a process advisor to country units, support the definition of local and/ or regional standards for detective controls; exchange, share and employ best practices with the ICS community in DCAZ
  • First point of contact for all general ICS topics towards DC and RB central departments
  • Support C/AU audits as well as followup measure implementation
  • Review and monitor compliance processes, e.g. regular conduct of compliance dialogs, adequate compliance training implementation, gratuities documentation or coordinating the Global Compliance Risk Assessment)
  • Other temporary or project tasks

Qualifications:

  • University degree with major in accounting, auditing, controlling or a related commercial area preferred
  • 3 5 years of working experience, ideally in internal control environment
  • Interest for a diverse range of processes and topics, good company overview, curiosity to go to "gemba" and to understand processes deeply, "detective" spirit to find deficiencies, very good analytical skills, clear view for conflicts of interest and potential risks
  • High level of integrity and reliability, sense for responsibility, ability to work autonomously and drive issues forward independently, confidential working style
  • Good team work spirit, good communication skills across diverse hierarchy levels and organizational entities, project management skills
  • Familiarity with MS office and good user knowledge of SAP, first experience with automation and bot usage preferred
  • Willingness to travel (max. 25%)
