We are seeking a talented and experienced Middle/Senior Database Administrator with expertise in Microsoft SQL Server to join our dedicated team.

The ability to communicate effectively in English or Arabic is essential as you will be interfacing with customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability, security, and optimal performance.
  • Design, implement, and oversee database architecture, including data modeling, indexing, and query optimization.
  • Perform database installations, configurations, and upgrades, staying uptodate with the latest MSSQL versions.
  • Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues proactively to minimize downtime.
  • Implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data integrity.
  • Perform regular database maintenance tasks, such as patching, tuning, and capacity planning.
  • Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations and implement access controls.
  • Work on disaster recovery planning and testing to mitigate data loss and system downtime.
  • Stay current with MSSQL best practices and industry trends, making recommendations for improvements.

Azure Database Administrator Associate) are a plus.

  • Proven experience as a Database Administrator with a focus on Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Indepth knowledge of MSSQL database management, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation for database tasks (e.g., T-SQL, PowerShell).
  • Strong understanding of database security, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Integration Services (SSIS) is a plus.
  • Good communication skills in English or Arabic, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
