The Global Accounting Services Lead will ultimately be responsible for (1) processing and ensuring accurate and timely payment of all invoices, credit card expenses, and expense reports, (2) facilitating and maintaining the global treasury infrastructure including treasury systems as well as the implementation of global treasury policies and procedures (3) and prepare or review routine journal entries, account reconciliations, assist in month-end closing.

This position is responsible for subsidiaries based in the United States and surrounding countries and reports to the Regional Accounting Manager based in Hong Kong, SAR.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assess, evaluate, and review multiple data sources to organize projects and/or provide direction on the completion of activities, tasks, or processes in accordance with company guidelines
  • Ensure all tasks, department assignments, or projects, are accurately completed within deadlines
  • Gather and evaluate information, develop opinions and recommendations, design and implement action plans, and/or direct others in the completion of tasks and assignments
  • Oversee responsibilities for the A/P Specialist, Treasury Analyst, and Accountant

QUALIFICATIONS

Must-have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or equivalent
  • Minimum 02 years of accounts payable experience
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
  • Working knowledge of general accounting principles and accounting practices
  • Possess excellent organizational, communication and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fastpaced environment
  • Demonstrate integrity and exercises discretion in handling confidential information
  • Demonstrate professionalism when interacting with employees and vendors
  • Ability to work independently and manage a team

Nice-to-have:

  • Minimum 02 years of experience working with global banking systems and processes
  • Experience with Oracle NetSuite, Coupa and Coupa Treasury, or other ProcuretoPay software
  • Experience with BlackLine for tasks and account reconciliations
