  • Responsible for all aspects of tax law, including ensuring that tax-related procedures are followed, keeping track of tax reporting procedures, directing tax audit talks and providing updates, among other things.
  • Provide the firm guidance on how to conduct transactions that affect taxes in order to protect the companys interests and comply with tax laws.
  • Expert in the field who complies with all applicable laws, rules, and KO Tax requirements
  • Assure readiness for tax inspections and audits that the General Department of Taxation may sometimes consult.
  • Create connections with and engage with internal and external customers, important stakeholders, and others to offer planning, consulting, and tax service knowledge.
  • Consistently evaluate and revise tax returns, including CIT, FCT, VAT, and PIT, on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
  • Assure that the tax teams members are building a strong bench.
  • Inform team and management on any taxrelated adjustments, if any, and effectively inform internal stakeholders of such changes.
  • Handle the local bottling business cash management, which consists mostly of putting deposits and paying yearly dividends.
  • Communicate with tax experts and other participants to produce assessment submissions.

A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is typically required. A master's degree in taxation or a related field is highly desirable. CPA/ACCA or other relevant professional certification is preferred. Significant experience in tax compliance, planning, and reporting, ideally in a large company or public accounting firm. Generally, a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required.

A deep understanding of tax laws and regulations, including federal, state, and local tax laws, and their implications for the organization.

Knowledge of international tax laws is also highly desirable.

Strong leadership skills, including the ability to manage and motivate a team of tax professionals, prioritize workloads, and delegate tasks effectively.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to effectively communicate complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals. Strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure accuracy in tax compliance, reporting, and documentation.
