The role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and fixed assets
  • Manage the invoicing process, including preparing and sending invoices. Follow up with payments and manage the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate recording of invoices.
  • Prepare journal entries, ensuring the accurate and timely recording of transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Assist with monthend and yearend close processes, including account reconciliations, variance analyses, and financial reporting.
  • Collaborate regularly with clients, and other departments to ensure accurate financial information and reporting.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and work with team members to implement changes.

Required Skills and Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 12 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a similar industry
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
  • Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fastpaced environment
