DepartmentOperations- LevelExperienced (Individual Contributor)- LocationVietnam - HanoiThe Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products.

The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates.   • Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers
  • To source, negotiate and establish purchases for IT goods and services
  • Build up and maintain the inventory of all current and upcoming purchases
  • Review and analyse spend, vendors/suppliers, commercial terms
  • Maintain and update the list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development
  • Work with IT technical team and HQ procurement team to propose good solutions from commercial perspective, ensure outcoming high quality products/supplies
  • Participate in negotiation for the best deal for pricing and supply contracts, and propose the best value option from suppliers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree of business administration, accounting or related field is preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience operating in a similar role
  • Knowledge of commercial relationship buildup and procurement techniques/process
  • Experience in negotiations and networking
  • Strong analytical skill, accurate and precise attention to details
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time efficiently
  • Good resource of supplier solutions is added advantage
  • Work experience in IT Suppliers/IT industry is added advantage
  • Initiative, enthusiasm and willingness to learn in a fluid and fastpaced environment
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively at all levels and with HQ Procurement team
