Job summary:

Our client is a mega refinery and petrochemical plant in Thanh Hoa, is looking for a Turnaround Scaffolding Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

  • The Turnaround Scaffold Coordinator/ Inspector ensures that Scaffold construction is performed safely and on schedule, monitoring the work of the Scaffold Contractor(s):
  • Ensures that the Scaffolds within the Block are safe, and Scaff-tags valid, where required.
  • Review all Scaffold related Method Statements, Job Safety Analysis, and Permit to Work. KPI develop and reporting.
  • Verifies that Scaffolders are competent.
  • Reports daily progress of construction/ deconstruction in cbm and per equipment.
  • Verifies and signs off only fit for purpose scaffolds.
  • Identifies 'overbuild' constructions and has them optimized at Contractors cost.
  • Provides support as "Subject Matter Expert" in any incident investigation involving the use of scaffolding equipment.
  • Ensures all Scaffold are inspected regularly, from construction as well as material standard.
  • Maintains the Scaffold Record Logbook of all scaffolds relating to the TA Scope in the designated Block.

Experience requirements:

  • At least 10 years of experience in Maintenance and Turnarounds in the Oil and Gas Industry in various Scaffold roles, ideally within the TA process.
  • Executed at least 3 Turnarounds, preferably on different sites, including in the Planning, Preparation and Execution phases.
  • Considerable experience of supervising Scaffolding contractors to achieve effective construction execution.
  • Dedicated to maintaining safe operations, enforcing strict conformance with all government regulations, and applicable client's procedures and policies.
  • Be familiar with OSHA Standards as applicable to Scaffolding in the Oil & Gas Industry.
  • Ability to recognize construction faults of large & small scaffold constructions.
  • Structured way of working and able to present Safety Issues in Scaffold structural design & execution.
  • Able to demonstrate systematic approach.

Education requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science/ Technology University or similar.
