ABOUT THE ROLE

As a C&B Associate at Timo, you will need a strong foundation in labor laws and the ability to apply them in real situations, with a focus on enhancing the employee experience. You will be directly involved in operations and benefits, ensuring stability while also supporting policy innovation and staying updated on labor market trends and regulations. The role requires close collaboration with stakeholders and advising leaders on HR matters.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Operational Stability:

  • Efficiently handle the calculation, verification, disbursement, and management of all payroll-related issues for both entities.
  • Ensure coordination with the Finance and Accounting team for payroll-related reports and take primary responsibility for the payment process for all company employees.
  • Mainly handle, follow up, and manage various types of contracts for employees and interns.
  • Ensure compliance with mandatory obligations to state agencies: SHUI compulsory, tax, dependents, and PIT finalization.
  • Act as a direct and proactive partner with the HR department of the partner entity.
  • Collaborate with the Finance and Accounting team and Audit for internal checks on HR-related issues.

Compensation Management & Benefits Administration:

  • Develop, revamp, and manage compensation policies and programs to ensure alignment with the company's overall strategy and a focus on employee experience.
  • Oversee the annual review process, including performance salary adjustments, incentive schemes, and promotions.
  • Proactively handle and update compensation structures to stay aligned with market trends and company changes, including rebuilding the employee title system.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations concerning employee benefits.

Employee Database Management:

  • Update, monitor, and regularly maintain HR-related changes proactively and with attention to detail for the internal team, Timo, and the entity.
  • Store and manage employee information and job-related documents, including offer letters, labor contracts (HDLD), transfer processes, and promotions.
  • Create, adjust, and update employee information during the onboarding/offboarding process, role/department changes, and other related processes in the service desk system.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure the organization's compensation and benefits programs comply with legal requirements.
  • Prepare and submit necessary reports to governmental agencies as required.
  • Maintain detailed records of all compensation and benefits activities.

Communication & Support:

  • Serve as the main contact for employees with questions or concerns about compensation and benefits.
  • Support informative sessions and guidance related to compensation policies and procedures with state agencies (e.g., PIT finalization), to help employees understand and complete processes more easily.
  • Actively support and communicate with employees; create and distribute clear communication materials to notify employees about any changes or updates to their benefits.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify areas for improvement in current compensation and benefits programs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
  • Implement innovative solutions to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Willing to create key projects that focus on enhancing employee satisfaction and minimizing obstacles in processes, while maintaining and aligning with laws and regulations.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 4–5 years of experience in compensation and benefits administration or a related role.
  • Experience working in startups, particularly in tech startups, is highly preferred.
  • Negotiation and dealing with issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A good understanding of the market and labor market trends.
  • Good English skills (written and verbal).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams) and an eagerness to explore new technologies. A strong interest in applying digital tools and AI to improve efficiency and enhance employee experience is highly valued.
