About the role

As the Senior Rendering Designer, you will be a key player in defining and executing the visual assets for all our marketing materials. You will be responsible for creating photorealistic 3D renderings and animations of Lovepop's physical products—from intricate pop-up cards to paper flower bouquets. Your work will serve as the primary visual asset across our e-commerce platform, digital advertising, social media, and email campaigns. This is a highly technical and creative role that requires an expert understanding of 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering to capture the magic, texture, and emotional appeal of our paper art.

Accountabilities

• Lead 3D Asset Creation
  : Produce high-quality, photorealistic still renderings and dynamic animations of new and existing Lovepop products for all digital marketing channels
• Establish Visual Standards
  : Set and maintain best-in-class standards for all rendered assets, focusing on realistic materials (paper texture, foil, glitter, etc.), sophisticated lighting setups, and brand-aligned environments to maximize visual impact and drive conversion
• Workflow Optimization
  : Develop, document, and manage efficient rendering pipelines, leveraging AI in workflow - ensuring assets are produced quickly and consistently to meet high-volume seasonal and product launch deadlines
• Texture and Material Mastery
  : Create and apply complex, realistic digital materials that accurately reflect the unique look and feel of our proprietary paper art.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  : Partner closely with the Product Design, Photography, and Marketing teams to translate physical product details and marketing concepts into compelling digital visuals
• Troubleshooting and Mentorship
  : Provide technical expertise to resolve complex rendering issues and mentor junior team members on best practices in 3D production
• Asset Management
  : Manage and maintain a library of 3D models, textures, and rendering environments

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience
  in a rendering or 3D visualization role, preferably within an e-commerce, consumer goods, or digital advertising environment
• Expert proficiency
  in 3D modeling and rendering software (e.g., Rhino, V-ray, Maya, 3ds Max), and advanced texturing tools for creating photorealistic paper, fabric, and other physical materials
• Exceptional portfolio
  demonstrating a keen eye for lighting, composition, and photorealism, particularly with detailed, intricate objects or products. Experience with paper, pop-up mechanisms, and small-scale products is a huge plus
• Advanced knowledge of post-production workflows using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects)
• Strong understanding of design principles and the ability to translate a creative brief into a visually stunning, on-brand rendered asset
• Proactive and results-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-volume seasonal environment
