LOGISTICS PROCUREMENT SUPERVISOR

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for procurement and logistics? We're looking for a Logistics Procurement Supervisor ​ to join our Procurement team. In this role, you'll help lead sourcing efforts, manage vendor relationships, and support the design and execution of warehouse and transportation solutions.

Primary Responsibilities and Outputs:

• An experienced Logistics Procurement Supervisor specializing in road transportation. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in multi-model transportation operations, cost analysis, and strong procurement management skills, with the ability to strategically source and manage vendors. This role will focus on optimizing transport models, managing supplier relationships, and exploring additional sourcing opportunities for warehouses and related infrastructure.

Job Objective (First 12 Months)

The qualified candidate who has competency weighting for this position is distributed as follows:

• 60% – Experience & capability in multi-model transport analysis, multi-industry operations, and cost structure optimization.

• 30% – Experience & capability in procurement rules: vendor management, contract management, and sourcing.

• 10% – Experience in expanding sourcing into warehouses, warehouse infrastructure, and auxiliary services.

1. Multi-Modal Transport Analysis & Cost Structure Expertise (60%)

- Proficient in various transport models: FTL/FCL, LTL/LCL, First , Middle & Last Mile.
- In-depth understanding of operational methods and technical requirements across multiple industries, particularly in FMCG: beverages, consumer household products, essential goods, home electronics, etc.
- Solid knowledge of costing models and cost structures for transport: cost factor or elecment, and key variables such as distance, payload, time, seasonality, and product type.
- Strong commercial logic to perform calculations, compare scenarios, and identify cost drivers across transport models and industries.
- Established network with diverse carriers, from large-scale market leaders to niche or specialized route/commodity carriers, to enable strategic cooperation and optimization of transport resources.

2. Procurement Management: Vendor, Contract & Sourcing (30%)

- Vendor Management: Build, maintain, evaluate, and optimize carrier performance.
- Contract Management: Draft, negotiate, manage, and oversee contract terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Strategic Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to optimize cost, service quality, and operational efficiency.

3. Expansion into Other Sourcing Categories (10%)

- Participate in evaluating and selecting warehouses, warehouse infrastructure, and auxiliary services (e.g., loading/unloading services, handling equipment, subcontractors) to support efficient inbound and outbound transport operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or an equivalent field.

• Strong technical expertise in road transportation, capable of analyzing and optimizing various transport models, while effectively managing procurement activities.
