Senior Backend Engineer

to join our
founding team

Role Objective

Your mission is to lead the development of the
BalancePro Home Test mobile application

, a key component of our AI-powered
Movement Intelligence Platform

. You'll design, build, and scale a mobile experience that empowers adults 50+ to assess and improve their balance health from home.

This role is central to our hybrid care strategy connecting clinic-grade assessments with personalized at-home training. You'll work closely with our backend, AI, and product teams to ensure a seamless, secure, and engaging user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Mobile App Development

• Lead the end-to-end development of the BalancePro Home Test mobile app iOS
• Implement responsive, intuitive UI/UX for older adult users.
• Integrate camera-based movement tracking, AI model inference, and cloud-based scoring.
• Ensure data privacy and HIPAA-compliant architecture.

System Integration

• Collaborate with backend and AI engineers to connect APIs and data pipelines.
• Synchronize test results and exercise data between home users and clinic dashboards.
• Optimize app performance for low-latency video processing and offline capabilities.

Product & Platform Collaboration

• Work with Product and Clinical Science teams to design user flows aligned with physical therapy protocols.
• Participate in roadmap planning and contribute to product design decisions.
• Gather feedback from pilot users to refine UX and drive feature improvements.

Innovation & Quality

• Explore on-device AI integration (CoreML, TFLite) for real-time inference.
• Maintain rigorous testing, debugging, and release management.
• Stay ahead of emerging trends in mobile health, computer vision, and digital care.

Qualifications

Required:

• Ideally 3–4 years building mobile apps with Swift.

(If you're really good, 2 years is enough — we care about skills, not just years.)

• Comfortable with data structures & algorithms.

You don't need to be a LeetCode warrior, but if someone says trie/tree/graph, you shouldn't panic.

• Big plus if you've built apps where concurrency (locks, semaphores, threads) plays a major role.
• You have shipped 1–2 apps to the App Store and you actually know how that process works.
• You enjoy challenges, get energy from solving tough problems, and the last few years of your life have been about building and learning.

Compensation Package

• Base Salary:

₫28M – ₫30M/month (₫336M – ₫360M/year), depending on experience
