As an AI Product Manager for Supply Chain Orchestration, you are a forward-thinking and highly motivated product manager who combines deep supply chain domain expertise with strong AI and data-driven product experience. Supply Chain Orchestration (SCO) is a network centric solution as part of the SAP Business Network portfolio, and it is an unifying intelligence layer that brings together data, events, and transactions from across these networks. SCO leverages AI, machine learning, and knowledge graph technologies to create a dynamic, multi-tier Supply Chain Structure that contextualizes disruptions, predicts risks, and enables autonomous decision-making across trading partners.

You will shape the future of SAP's Supply Chain Orchestration products by integrating AI-powered insights, automation, and collaboration across global supply chain processes.

• Define the product roadmap, scope for AI in SAP Supply Chain Orchestration, focusing on direct material collaboration, supplier risk visibility, and AI-enabled decision making along key processes.
• Translate customer and market needs into a clear product strategy, ensuring alignment across stakeholders, partners, and development teams worldwide.
• Lead business requirements gathering from internal teams, partners, and customers; synthesize insights into prioritized user stories and product backlogs that drive measurable outcomes across SAP's business network.
• Work closely with AI engineers, data scientists, and UX researchers within SAP business network and SCM line of business to transform data and signals into intelligent workflows, recommendations, and predictive insights.
• Define and manage AI-driven capabilities such as risk detection, prediction models, and process automation, ensuring responsible and explainable AI practices.
• Craft PRD's accounting for dependencies and other reusable services across SAP business network.
• Guide development teams through agile delivery cycles, ensuring clear goals, measurable success metrics, and a shared vision for impact.
• Act as a product evangelist—prepare and present product demos, contribute to internal communications, social media, and customer-facing events.
• Write strategy papers and business concept documents to articulate how AI facilitates Supply Chain Orchestration and autonomous supply chains.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends in AI, supply chain technologies, and enterprise SaaS, ensuring SAP and Business network remains at the forefront of innovation.

What you bring:

• Experience & Track Record:  8+ years of experience in Product Management, ideally in AI-driven enterprise software and Supply Chain Management. Proven success in defining and launching SaaS products, leading cross-functional teams, and aligning diverse stakeholders around a shared product vision.
• Experience in writing AI Evals
• AI & Data Expertise: Deep understanding of AI/ML techniques, data wrangling, Agentic AI frameworks, automation tools and analytics.
• Hands-on experience collaborating with AI/ML engineering teams to build, deploy, and test and optimize intelligent feature sets.
• Supply Chain Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of Supply Chain Planning, Procurement, logistics and Collaboration processes, including supplier management, risk monitoring, and orchestration workflows.
• SBN Ecosystem Knowledge: Understanding of SAP Business Network (SBN) products, including Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC), Business Network for Logistics (SB4L), and other related SAP supply chain solutions, is a strong plus.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with cloud-native development, microservices architecture, and API-first product design. Understanding of data pipelines, AI frameworks, and cloud deployment models.
• Communication & Leadership: Exceptional ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Proven experience managing stakeholder expectations and leading through influence.
• Results-Oriented: Strong analytical mindset, capable of data-driven decision-making and defining KPIs to measure product success. Demonstrated ability to execute and deliver in agile environments.
• Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field – mandatory.
• Global Mindset: Comfortable working with distributed teams across time zones and cultures. Readiness to engage globally (occasional travel may apply).
